Steven Peeters built up a solid background as a (Visual) C++ developer on both Windows and AIX environments during the first 6 years of his career. After this period he made the switch to developing Rich Internet Applications. Starting out in 2004 with Flex 1.5, he now has gained over 7 years of experience in developing technologically complex and demanding Flex and AIR applications (desktop and mobile), in combination with LiveCycle Data Services, BlazeDS, amfphp and ColdFusion.
Steven joined multimediacollege in February 2008, where he also became the first Adobe Certified Instructor for Flex and AIR in the BeLux region (Belgium and Luxembourg). So now, most of the time he teaches Flex, AIR, Flash Catalyst, LiveCycle and ColdFusion courses to all kinds of developers (beginner and advanced). But of course he does some interesting projects between the courses as well to keep his skills up-to-date and to improve them constantly.
He does some presentations and workshops on Flex, AIR and LiveCycle Data Services for the Belgian Adobe offices on a regular basis. As Adobe Community Professional and User Group Manager for the Belgian Adobe ColdFusion User Group Steven is also dedicated to sharing his knowledge with the community, hence this website.
In May 2012, Steven Started his own company. Silver Lining is a company that offers consultancy for desktop, web and mobile projects, as well as training and workshop offers for Adobe related products such as Flex, AIR, ColdFusion, Captivate, Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc. You can visit the website at http://www.silver-lining.be to find out more about what exactly this company has to offer and for more contact information.
